Hello, my name is Kristin & welcome to my blog, Somewhat Adrift. I chose the name Somewhat Adrift because a long time ago I heard the word adrift for the first time and resonated with it and liked the sound of it. Although it can have a negative connotation, I didn't think about it in a negative way, but rather being adrift from the pressures and constructs of the "real" world. To me, being Somewhat Adrift means to create a fantasy world in your mind and live there, remaining grounded in what's important along the way.
